Yasemin Uyar has over ten years of experience on various aspects of sustainable development. She has worked in NGOs, private sector and diplomatic institutions on corporate social responsibility, management of development grant funds, public relations and stakeholder engagement, social impact management. During her university studies she volunteered for NGOs and also contributed in the youth activities of the Council of Europe with her membership of advisory council on youth of the Council of Europe between 2003-2005. She worked with Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline on community investment programme, sustainable development programme and social impact management activities of the pipeline in Turkey between 2006-2009 and 2012-2014. She also managed grant funds of the British Embassy between 2009-2011.
She completed her undergraduate study at Marmara University on international relations. After that she completed her master’s study in Sweden on international relations in 2004 with the scholarship of Swedish Institute.
