Levent Koc is the managing partner of Corpera. He works as the trusted advisor of organizations on social management and labour relations to support their strategic business priorities.
Levent focusses on creating a business-friendly environment for projects by minimizing social impacts on communities, creating value and benefits to counterparts and by developing sustainable, trust-based relationship between sides. Moreover, Levent support manufacturing companies to build and manage relationships with their workers and labour unions, increasing employee engagement. Levent Koc works with municipalities on local development projects and participatory reconciliation management; and working with international lenders on social impact assessment, due diligence and social monitoring.
Earlier in his career, Levent worked as a partner at StratejiCo., as well as various NGO’s on local participation, good governance, entrepreneurship and networking. He also worked as an expert in UNDP, EU, World Bank and Development Agencies projects. Before he co-founded Corpera, he had experiences as an entrepreneur, consultant and political campaign advisor.
Levent Koc has completed his undergraduate studies at Yildiz Technical University Faculty of City and Regional Planning. He received his MSc degree at Cardiff University, the UK in International Planning and Development.
Levent is a true believer of increasing quality of decisions by benefiting from participatory mechanisms and searching win-win situations in every dispute. Levent is co-writer of “Local Authority Systems in Turkey, Poland, France, Italy, Spain and the Czech Republic” published in 2009.
Levent Koc is fluent in English, enjoys scuba diving, sailing and playing tennis.
