Murat is a graduate of Istanbul University, with a degree in Economics, and pursued his higher education in Sustainable Development at Leipzig University in Germany. For his master’s thesis, he collaborated with The Centre for Renewable and Sustainable Energy Studies (CRSES) at Stellenbosch University in South Africa, examining the potential use of sustainable energy technologies to address electricity shortages in rural Africa through PESTLE analysis.
Throughout his professional career as a Sustainability Specialist, he has acquired knowledge in various areas including reporting, strategy development, ESG management, sustainable finance external review, social compliance, and auditing. Committed to the concept of lifelong learning, Murat holds numerous national and international certifications in the field of Sustainability.
With prior experience as a Professional Tourist Guide, Murat is fluent in English and German, and aspires to learn French. Additionally, he enjoys swimming, exploring new places, and actively participating in every cultural activity possible.
